Number: 4 positions · Districts across Karnataka · Output-based engagement
THE OPPORTUNITY
AI is reshaping the first jobs young people will walk into. Mentor Together is working across the Government of Karnataka's collegiate system to help college students build the essentials of AI fluency and understand why it matters for work readiness. This is a chance to stand in front of thousands of first-generation college students and help them see AI as a tool they can use with confidence.
WHAT STUDENTS WILL LEARN
Mentor Together has designed an AI fluency model built on four essentials: understanding AI, using AI as a thinking partner, evaluating AI outputs critically, and using AI ethically. It is delivered through interactive 60–90 minute classroom sessions.
YOUR ROLE
Each trainer delivers up to 5 sessions to a cohort of 5,000–6,000 students across a designated set of colleges, spread over six months. Within your colleges, you will own:
- Coordination: working with college SPOCs to schedule sessions around academic calendars.
- Preparation: learning and training on each session to Mentor Together's standards before delivering it.
- Delivery: running engaging, high-quality classroom sessions in Kannada and English.
- Completion: ensuring students complete the in-app activities on the Mentor Together app that confirm each session is done.
Payment is tied to results. Payment for each module is released on successful completion of the deliverable: the requisite number of students in your colleges completing that session on the app.
COMPENSATION
25,000 per module delivered, inclusive of all applicable taxes. A trainer stands to earn a total of Rs 1,25,000 From the successful completion of all the modules.
Travel and other expenses like printing and stationery or event support costs will be separate and covered based on Mentor Together's organisational policy.
